Role Overview

Capstone IT Solutions seeks an Inside Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. This role is integral to our mission, working closely with Business Development Managers to nurture leads, manage sales cycles, and contribute to the company’s growth. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter, eager to connect with clients and promote our cutting-edge solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform in-depth market analysis to identify new prospects in sectors ripe for application modernization and cloud migration, utilizing both industry reports and digital analytics.
  • Develop and execute outreach strategies through personalized communication, leveraging insights into the technology sector’s needs for modernization and cloud strategies.
  • Arrange and conduct virtual demos of Capstone IT Solutions’ services, highlighting the efficiency gains, cost savings, and innovation potential of migrating to cloud-based solutions and modernizing applications.
  • Listen attentively to prospects’ current technology challenges and objectives, customizing follow-up discussions to address their specific requirements for modernization and migration.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to refine sales materials, ensuring they accurately represent the benefits of Capstone IT Solutions’ MSP offerings, including CaaS+ and partnerships with AWS and VMware.
  • Utilize HubSpot to track engagement and progress with prospects, analyzing this data to enhance future sales strategies.
  • As required, follow up with prospects after presentations to clarify any concerns and reinforce the strategic value of Capstone IT Solutions’ solutions and services to their business goals.
  • Prioritize the sales pipeline based on the strategic fit of prospects, focusing on those most likely to benefit from comprehensive cloud migration and application modernization services.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and competitor offerings to position Capstone IT Solutions as a leader in cloud solutions, application modernization, and MSP services in all prospect interactions.
  • Maintain engagement with longer-term prospects through regular updates on new services and success stories, ensuring Capstone IT Solutions remains their preferred choice for future technology needs.



  • Demonstrated inside sales experience in the technology software and services arena, with a solid track record.
  • Proficient in sales process management, with a deep understanding of CRM and marketing automation systems, specifically HubSpot.
  • Capable of high-level communication, engaging effectively with IT and business leaders to navigate complex sales scenarios and build consensus around Capstone IT Solutions’ services.
  • A strategic thinker and team player, focused on meeting collective sales goals and driving business growth.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders, from technical teams to senior executives.
  • Knowledge of AWS, VMware, and cloud services is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field preferred.
