At VMware Explore 2022, VMware announced new capabilities in the Tanzu Application Platform (TAP) that further enhance developer and application operator experiences for any Kubernetes environment, increase supply chain security, and offer additional ecosystem integrations. VMware also announced updates to key components in Tanzu for Kubernetes Operations (TKO) including enhancements to Tanzu Mission Control and Tanzu Kubernetes Grid to simplify Kubernetes delivery, management, and reliability. “Capstone IT Solutions uses TKO and TAP as a trusted partner of VMware to help our customers accelerate innovation,” said Rider.
In “How to Deliver Turnkey Containers as a Managed Service,” Glen discussed how Capstone IT Solutions transformed a customer’s IT environment with a managed service offering to deliver a turnkey containers-as-a-service solution. He outlined how the implementation was automated using VMware Tanzu and architected to capitalize on process efficiency and exceptional user experience.
In “Technical, Cultural and Economic Transformation with VMware Tanzu and Capstone IT Solutions,” Glen and Ken covered the key considerations for enterprises that are on a containerization and Kubernetes transformation journey. They explained how they helped a billion-dollar organization transition to Kubernetes, highlighting the aspects of the customer’s cultural evolution, the ROI of their investment, and the technical architecture of the final solution.
